For every lens we create, we give the gift of sight to someone in need. Lens for a Lens is more than a program—it's a commitment to equality, compassion, and the transformative power of clear vision.
Founded in 2021 by Sarayu Padala as her capstone project during her first student intern cohort at Sync Visual Media, what began as an idea blossomed into a registered nonprofit. Working alongside her brother and with support from Samhith (Sync's President) and the Lions Club President, Sarayu transformed her vision into reality, officially launching the program in Q3 2022.
As Director of Lens for a Lens, Sarayu spearheads all programs and promotes social welfare causes globally. Our team doesn't just donate—we volunteer. We're on the ground, fitting glasses, running screenings, and witnessing the moment when someone sees clearly for the first time.
A portion of every project completed by Sync Visual Media directly funds free eye care services and equipment for communities in need.
Our team members dedicate thousands of hours annually to vision clinics, eye screenings, and community education programs worldwide.
We collect, refurbish, and distribute eyeglasses to those who cannot afford them, ensuring quality vision care reaches everyone.
Over 500 custom graphic designs created for eye care centers, helping them better serve their communities with professional materials.
Supporting Lions Club hospitals and eye care facilities with equipment, training, and operational support where it's needed most.
Operating across 8 countries with a focus on regions with limited access to eye care, from India to underserved communities worldwide.
Together, we're stronger. Our collaboration amplifies impact and creates lasting change.
Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, your contribution creates real change. Join us in bringing clear vision to communities worldwide.
Founder & Director
While working at Sync Visual Media, Sarayu had a powerful realization: the company creates visually captivating content, but only those with the privilege of sight can truly experience it. This insight sparked the vision for Lens for a Lens.
In 2021, Sarayu founded Lens for a Lens as her capstone project during her first student intern cohort at Sync Visual Media. What began as an ambitious vision has grown into a registered nonprofit impacting thousands of lives across eight countries.
As Director, Sarayu spearheads all program initiatives and promotes social welfare causes globally. Her leadership has driven the organization to donate over $200,000, distribute 2,700+ eyeglass frames, and coordinate 8,000+ volunteer hours in underserved communities worldwide.
Working alongside her brother and with support from Sync Visual Media leadership and Lions Club International, Sarayu transformed her initial concept into a fully operational nonprofit, officially launching in Q3 2022 with immediate impact at Nidadavole Lion's Club Hospital in Andhra Pradesh, India.
From our start in Nidadavole, we have since expanded to a variety of different locations coordinated by Lions staff across 8 different countries throughout Asia. Our programs now reach rural communities in Nepal and Bangladesh, underserved neighborhoods in the Philippines and Indonesia, remote villages in Sri Lanka and Cambodia, and urban centers in Thailand. Each location is carefully selected based on critical need and existing Lions Club infrastructure, ensuring sustainable impact and community-driven care.
